More than a century of fine distilling and a royal patent issued in 1879 are testaments to the great reputation of Meletti Sambuca, a licorice-flavored liqueur that derives its flavor from the elderflower bush, know in Latin as “sambucus”. Meletti Sambuca is produced with an extended aging step. It is also richer in body than anisette, with an underlying floral character.

1.5 oz Cold River Gin (made from potatoes)
1/4 oz Meletti Sambuca
1/4 oz Fiorente Elderflower Liqueur
Stir gin, Sambuca, and Elderflower liqueur with ice and strain into a flute. Top with prosecco.
