Policies
Of course, we have to have policies. Please take a moment to review before you order online.
In some circumstances, you may place an order online at the same time as another client, and therefore an item may show available when in fact it may be out-of-stock. Should this occur, we will contact you immediately to discuss a replacement or refund option. The Savory Grape also reserves the right to change vintages on wines priced under $25 prior to shipping without notification. By placing an order you are accepting of this.
Store Pick-up Information
If you wish to pick-up your online order in the store, please select that option during checkout. You will receive an email notification when our pick-up order is ready.
Delivery in Rhode Island
The Savory Grape offers delivery in Rhode Island, during business hours. Kindly note, there is a $50 minimum order requirement for deliveries.
Same day delivery is not guaranteed, especially during peak times or holidays, but we do our best to accommodate and schedule the most convenient delivery time for the recipient. If your order is placed after 12 PM, your order will go into the next day’s delivery schedule, if the recipient is home and available to accept the delivery.
As required by RI law, a person 21 years of age or older must be present and show proper legal identification to accept delivery of alcoholic beverages. The Savory Grape will not deliver to any person who cannot show proof of age identification or who shows signs of intoxication.
The Savory Grape strictly prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors. If the person 21 years of age or older is not present at the time of a scheduled delivery, the items will be returned to The Savory Grape and a second delivery charge will be assessed.
Customer Age Policy
You must be 21 years of age or older to order our products online. By ordering online you attest that you are 21 years of age or older. You must furnish proper identification to verify that you are 21 years of age or older when you pick up at The Savory Grape or have items shipped or delivered to you.
Credit Cards Accepted for Online Orders
For online orders, we accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express.
Your Online Payment Is Secure: Use Your Credit Card With Confidence
To fully ensure the security of your online payment, we use Eprocessing Network. Eprocessing network employs proven technology and procedures to transmit data safely and to safeguard consumer data. Eprocessing Network is PCI compliant, which requires diligent adherence to anti-fraud measures to protect merchants and consumers.

Shipping
If you opt for shipping and your order typically will go out for shipping within 24 hours unless there are circumstances beyond our control. In this instance we would contact you immediately.
FedEx Ground delivery service is used for all orders shipped outside of RI. (If you prefer to use a FedEx Express service please call us at 401-886-9463). Orders within RI are delivered by The Savory Grape within normal business hours.
Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from The Savory Grape to the purchaser in the State of Rhode Island and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping from Rhode Island to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine, The Savory Grape is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from The Savory Grape, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.
You must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages. Any shipments outside of Rhode Island containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” sticker, and the common carrier, FedEx, which ships our wine is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery. This means that you must be present at the time of delivery. FedEx will not leave packages without your signature and proof of age.
We will NOT refund any shipping charges if your package comes back to The Savory Grape because an adult was not present to sign for the package. Shipping to a business address is always encouraged, where allowed by law.
Because of wine’s sensitivity to temperature variances, we may hold your wine in periods of extreme heat/cold. Please understand that during regular business hours, your orders are immediately packaged and then scheduled for shipment, but may be delayed until ideal conditions for shipment arise. In these cases, we would notify you of any delay in shipping. You will receive an email containing tracking information once your order is boxed and ready for shipment. Please note, these tracking numbers will not be active until they are scanned by the driver.
To comply with Federal and State laws, a signature of someone 21 years of age or older is required for receipt of shipment.
