Mezcal Paloma Cocktail

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Mezcal
  • 1.5 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • .5 oz Lime Juice
  • .5 oz Honey Simple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 oz Sparkling Water

Instructions
 

  • Start by rimming your glass with lime juice and a blend of sea salt/chili pepper. Feel free to skip this step if you're not a fan of heat!
  • Add mezcal, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and honey simple syrup into cocktail shaker and SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE!
  • Pour into rimmed glass, top with sparkling water, and garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

Make honey simple syrup at home!

All you need is equal parts honey and water (ex. 1/4 cup honey and 1/4 cup water). Add both into a sauce pan and bring to a simmer until honey is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool. Viola!
