Ingredients
  

  • 1 bottle dry red wine
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1 whole orange (sliced)
  • 8 whole cloves
  • 2-4 whole cinnamon sticks
  • 2 whole star anise or a few drops of star anise extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar or honey

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients into a saucepan and simmer on med-high heat until about to simmer.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for another 15 minutes.
  • Strain out fruit and spice. Serve with garnish and enjoy!
