Easy Mulled Wine

Servings 4 servings

Ingredients

1 bottle dry red wine
1/4 cup brandy
1 whole orange (sliced)
8 whole cloves
2-4 whole cinnamon sticks
2 whole star anise or a few drops of star anise extract
1/4 cup sugar or honey

Instructions

Combine all ingredients into a saucepan and simmer on med-high heat until about to simmer.
Cover and cook on low heat for another 15 minutes.
Strain out fruit and spice. Serve with garnish and enjoy!
