Classic Mint Julep

Ingredients

4-5 leaves mint
1/2 oz simple syrup (or two sugar cubes)
2.5 oz bourbon
crushed ice

Instructions

Add mint leaves and sugar into glass and muddle to release the oil + aromas of mint. If using sugar cubes, muddle until dissolved. If using simple syrup, muddle until the mint leaves are crushed and saturated in the syrup.
Add bourbon, fill glass with crushed ice and stir until the glass becomes frosty.
Top with extra crushed ice if needed, garnish with a mint leave, and enjoy!
