Berry Bourbon Smash

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz bourbon or whiskey
  • 1/2 lime
  • 4-5 berries (blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, etc.)
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 3-4 basil leaves

Instructions
 

  • Add the whiskey, sugar, berries, basil, and lime into a cocktail shaker. Muddle to release flavors and begin to mix together.
  • Shake, shake, shake with heaps of ice.
  • Strain over fresh rocks, into an up glass, or enjoy as is!
  • Tip: use frozen berries to get an even chillier drink for summer. Yum!
