A note from the winemaker: A premium quality dry rosé made of Blatina (BLAH-tee-nah) grapes, a native variety of the Herzegovina (Her-tsuh-GOH-vee-nuh) wine region. Blatina is rare; grows only in Herzegovina and does not self pollinate. Trnjak is planted in the same field to pollinate Blatina. This wine boasts a salmon color with subtle tastes of red cherry and wild strawberry, citrus and red plum, with underlying notes of Mediterranean stone fruits: yellow peaches and apricots.
