A note from the winemaker: Sandstone Merlot carries itself with a measure of composure and finesse that promises plenty of appeal. Generous aromas of black cherry and plum are tempered by layers of cinnamon, nutmeg, and an oak sweetness. Black currant, chocolate, and espresso surround the palate with substantial grip. Oak-kissed and overflowing with ripeness and balanced acidity, this juicy red is as pleasurable as it is food friendly. Blend: 76% Merlot, 12% Petit Verdot, 10% Malbec, 2% Petite Sirah
