Tardive is French for “late”. This Chardonnay spends a longer time in barrel (between 16 and 18 months), resulting in a wine of great texture and nuance! The wine reminds of greatly of a high quality (more expensive) French white Burgundy in many ways. Hazelnut, lemon cream, slight vanilla (but not overly oaky), and a touch of leesy yeast texture from resting in neutral barrels for that extra year and a half. Great wine! Drink 2020-2025

Pair with: Seared scallops and shrimp, lobster risotto, and chicken dishes.
