A note from the winemakers: Since the 1st century, the Romans have inhabited these lands. The Basilii Family, which inhabited the Roman Villa of Torre de Palma, stood out in the production of wine, olive oil and Lusitano horses. From here they departed for the trade route between Lisbon, Mérida and Rome to sell their products. Today, we produce this wine to honor the legacy and passion of the Basilli for these customs. This wine is produced exclusively with Portuguese grape varieties in a Sustainable Production System. The varieties are: Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Miúda (Graciano). It is an elegant and genuine wine that takes us to the cooler side of the Alto Alentejo region.
