SALICE SALENTINO, PUGLIA, ITALY

A spicy, rich Rosso from one of the best smaller producers in the heel of Italy’s boot, Puglia. Flavors of pepper, cola and cherries follow through to a long, satisfying finish. Made from 15-20-yeard-old vines of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. The wine ages in used medium-toast French oak barrels for 4-6 months. The vineyard is sustainable.
