TUSCANY, ITALY

A note from the winemaker: Oreno, named after the river that runs through the property, is the flagship of Tenuta Sette Ponti. A Tuscan-Bordeaux blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, aged for 18 Months in French oak. Spicy aromas of black fruit and chocolate dominate the palate. The wine is full-bodied, with supple tannins.

Food Pairings: hearty pasta dishes, truffle risotto, and dark chocolate desserts.
