Nanjing black is a small lager beer version of Master Gao’s award winning Lunar Eclipse imperial stout. It uses a rich blend of chocolate malt, coffee malt and roast barley to provide a tasty dark chocolate flavor milky-smooth on the palate and on the finish. Nanjing Black pairs beautifully with practically all of the foundational flavors and textures of Chinese cuisine: salt, sweet, sour, spicy, bitter, sharp, nutty, numbing, & smoky.
