A note from the winemaker: Rich and wonderfully layered, the Murrieta’s Well 2021 “The Whip” bursts from the gate with a full measure of distinctive ripe-peach fruitiness buffered by floral notes of honeysuckle and orange blossom. Likewise, it delivers deep and well-focused flavors of white apricot, Asian pear, and even a hint of honeydew and Meyer lemon in the expansive and freshly fruited mid-palate. While rich and full-bodied, the blend boasts an unctuous acidity that keeps it lively and vital all the way to the end.
