Pian del Ciampolo of Montevertine is a prestigious red made in Radda in the heart of the Chianti area. But it’s not Chianti! Made with Sangiovese with a small quantity of Canaiolo and Colorino. It gives us a beautiful ruby red color with a nose of cherry and licorice. Intense and full of fruit, yet dry, it has soft tannins and a good persistence.
