MONSECCO GATTINARA OSSO
From the region of Gattinara is the stunning property of Monsecco which sits near Monte Rosa, one of the famed snow-capped mountains of Piedmont. After a manual harvest, the grapes undergo an extensive blending and then are racked into a combination of large casks and second year French barrique for at least three years of aging prior to being bottled. The palate shows notes of blackberry and Bing cherry with a fresh vibrant acidity. Medium bodied, it has a beautiful mouthfeel with a touch of earthiness.
