From the Winery: The first taste of harvest 2021 is all savory with our moodiest nouveau to date. Wild and jubilant, Patatino takes you on a walk through a forest of cranberry and strawberry popsicles melting off of their piney sticks. The smell of Himalayan black salt floats in on the wind with whispers of wild oats. Patatino’s lightweight body, bright acidity, and slight spritz keeps you lifted from Nouveau Day (November 18th) through the New Year. A blend of 67% Pinot noir and 33% Petite Sirah.

This hazy expression of Pinot and Petite Sirah drinks more like a slightly wild Poulsard than the richer fruit of Nouveau’s past, but is no less joyful. Chill upright in the fridge overnight to settle. Remove from the fridge 20 minutes prior to enjoying, so wine is chilled but not cold. Naturally occurring sediment is expected.

Pair with: teriyaki grilled salmon, roasted pork loin with roasted potatoes, or light pasta dishes.
