From the Winery: This vintage champagne, aims to capture the ultimate expression of the Pinot noir from our “La Montagne” estate, concentrated on the original vines purchased by the Champagne House. The Vintage is therefore a testament to an exceptional year, a snapshot of a terroir that has undergone a slow maturation process. Composed of Pinot noir sometimes complemented by Chardonnay, the Vintage cuvée is generally matured on lees for 4 years and left for a minimum of 6 months after dégorgement (disgorging) to attain perfect maturity. The power and maturity of the Verzy Pinot Noir forge its identity, its notes of intense fruit, juicy pear and concentrated citrus, almost candied, acidic red fruits.
