From the Winery: The first Lodi Cabernet Franc wine ever produced by Michael David Winery, and one of the few produced from Lodi. This varietal originated from the Bordeaux and Loire Valley regions of France and has been grown with success in many other countries. The grapes for this wine come from a 9 acre vineyard located on the west side of Lodi, no more than a stone’s throw away from the winery. Ready to drink now or could be set down for a few years.

Like ink splattering across a page, our 2020 Inkblot Cabernet Franc overflows with concentration and complexity. Opening with decadent aromas of ripe plum, berry medley and almond toffee, full bodied flavors of cherry preserves, raspberry pie and licorice lead to a remarkably long finish.
