A note from the winemaker: The Chardonnay Select has pleasant fruit aromas that blend with the pleasant aromas of French oak. This Chardonnay is fermented and then aged in a combination of new and uses French oak which balances the acidity with a smooth slightly oakier finish. More Burgundian in style. It is a great pairing with lobster or chicken off the grill. The Select is primarily from the oldest Chardonnay vines which were planted in 1983.
