Two childhood friends crossed paths later in life as they both were finishing enology degrees to create Dirupi, growing grapes in Valtellina’s terraced land. Their farming practices are sustainable and certified organic. The Nebbiolo is stainless steel fermented and then aged in French Allier oak barrels for 18 months. This results in an elegant medium bodied rendition with a marriage of black and red fruits with a silky finish.
