De Muller Vermouth has been made using the same recipe since 1850. Winemaker Gemma Reus is considered the epicenter of Spanish vermouth, and De Muller located in Catalonia is historically regarded as one of the top producers. It’s made with a base of wine infused with 150 botanicals. Highly guarded, the recipe includes cinnamon, orange peel, chamomile and rosemary. Most of the botanicals are native to the winery’s Mediterranean setting. The wine is finally fortified with a liqueur made from molasses before bottling.
