A note from the winemaker: This estate traces its roots to 962 when the Cistercian monks of Cluny tended the vines. It was most recently purchased by the Andrieu family in 2008. Jordane Andrieu graduated Oenology from Dijon and worked at Lafon and de Montille before returning to the family estate. Rigorously biodynamic across 8 hectares (4 in Pommard), the estate also keeps beehives to encourage biodiversity. All harvests are triple sorted. Natural yeasts. Five different barrel makers are used.

A unique white wine you will be talking about for years to come! It is smooth and delicate, dominated by flowered aromas and a very special, touch of sensuality. The Monthelie has an enjoyable mineral mouth sensation (similar to that of a dry Riesling), with flavors of cocoa, coffee, pine resin, white flowers and chestnut. The finish is snappy, lingering, and absolutely mouth-watering! Not to be missed.

Food Pairings: Chicken marsala, grilled shellfish, burrata salad, or on its own!
