The Pianrosso Brunello Riserva is a result of careful selections of the Pianrosso grape in the vineyards followed by a long maceration in Ciacci’s wine cellars. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel and glass concrete vats, temperature-controlled. It then ages for more than 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by more than 12 months of bottle ageing. The result is stunning! The nose is intense while the mouth feel is fruit-forward with hints of red and black berries and various spices. Its lusciously warm with soft tannins. A full bodied wine this Brunello that can be refined in the bottle for many years. Bottles are protected against counterfeiting by a hologram on the capsule.
