This September and October, we’re celebrating the flavors of Italy with Lazzaroni – a historic family producer from Saronno, Italy, known for crafting traditional Italian liqueurs with recipes and techniques passed down through generations.

From bright, citrusy Limoncello and aromatic Sambuca to bittersweet Amaro, velvety Amaretto, and rich Black Caffè, the Lazzaroni collection offers a delicious taste of classic Italian drinking culture.

One of the true standouts is Lazzaroni Amaretto, first produced in 1851 and still made in Saronno using a wonderfully unique family recipe: their famous Amaretti del Chiostro di Saronno cookies are crushed and infused in alcohol, creating an exceptionally smooth liqueur with notes of marzipan, toasted almond, dried fruit and warm spice.

Limoncello brings vibrant lemon zest and fresh citrus character, beautiful served ice-cold after dinner or mixed into a spritz. Sambuca, another Lazzaroni tradition dating back to 1851, delivers rich star-anise and herbal flavors and is wonderful neat, with coffee, or in cocktails. Amaro offers the bittersweet herbal character that makes Italian digestivi so special, while Black Caffè brings rich coffee flavor that’s right at home in an Espresso Martini or simply enjoyed over ice.

Whether you’re mixing cocktails, looking for the perfect after-dinner pour, or simply want to discover a little more of Italy, there’s a Lazzaroni for every occasion.

Stop in during September & October and discover the Lazzaroni collection, our featured Spirits of the Month.
